The two words any parent dreads hearing a few minutes into an outdoor walk are “Carry me.” This is particularly true if you’ve got more than one child in tow, which is why the Radio Flyer 3-in-1 EZ Folding Wagon is a frequent companion on my family’s excursions outside.

Designed for two kids — perfect for me, since I have twins — the 22-pound, bright red Radio Flyer wagon is made from a DuraClean fabric material that is not only flexible but also easy to wipe clean.

Relatively inexpensive for a light-weight — but durable — wagon, the 3-in-1 Folding Wagon adds to its value by doubling as a bench seat and a flatbed to haul up to 150 pounds. I can also attest that its claims of being easy to fold are true: It rarely takes me both hands to fold up this wagon.
That makes it useful not only for kiddos to ride, but also for bringing along supplies to a picnic or bonfire, carting flowers or potting soil, or creating a quick and easy seat at a farmers market or food truck. In addition to carting around twin toddlers, I’ve used ours to carry firewood, gardening tools, groceries, and clothing donations.

I personally like that it’s light enough that I can flip it over to shake out any debris that collects in it; my kids really like putting every rock, twig and leaf they can find into the two cup holders.

Radio Flyer is, of course, a storied name among little red wagons, and they also offer an All-Terrain version of this wagon that comes with a UV blocking canopy, and an Off-Road option that includes higher sides and a storage pouch.
All three have passed the ASTM-F963-13 standards for toy safety and included a thick padded seat and safety seatbelts.
Here’s why I truly love the Radio Flyer 3-in-1 Folding Wagon
We live in rural Vermont with twin toddlers, so I rely on all of my gear to be durable throughout the seasons, effortlessly functional and useful on multiple levels. The 3-in-1 Folding Wagon certainly fits the bill. The telescoping handle is easy to maneuver and the quiet-ride tires have withstood our dirt and gravel driveway without complaint.
The kids like riding in it and pulling each other around in it, and my partner finds it useful as a secondary option to our wheelbarrow.
In warmer months, we get enough use out of it that we keep it tucked into a corner of the mud room for easy access, and we often opt for using it over our much heavier stroller.
