Rosanna Davison spoken about the emotional moment she heard her baby’s heartbeat for the first time after suffering 15 miscarriages.
The former Miss World shares three children — Sophia, who was born via surrogacy, and twins Oscar and Hugo — with husband Wesley Quirke.
Rosanna has been open for years about her heartbreaking journey to becoming a mum, the 39-year-old previously said she had a miscarriage after Sophia was born and before her twins’ entered the world.
On Sunday, the influencer took to Instagram to share a video of the first time she heard one of the twins’ heartbeat while having an ultrasound.
She said in tears: ‘I didn’t ever expect this. Oh my God.’
Captioning the video, Rosanna told fans: ‘This day 3 years ago I saw a heartbeat on my early pregnancy scan for the first time.
‘After 15 pregnancy losses I had accepted that I wouldn’t carry my own baby. I’d never seen a heartbeat before so this was an amazing moment.
‘Took another week to discover another baby in there.’
Sharing her support to any women going through a similar journey to her, Rosanna added: ‘For anyone on a similar journey who needs to hear it today, don’t give up.
‘Fertility miracles do happen.’
Despite the fact that being a mum is her ‘favourite thing in the world’, Rosanna recently admitted she still struggles with looking back on who she ‘used to be’.
‘I struggle a bit with feeling lost in motherhood. Being a mum is my favourite thing in the world. But something that I was determined to avoid when I became a mum was losing my own self identity or forgetting who I used to be.
‘But I found that over the past couple of years – that has happened,’ she said on Instagram.
