Republican reader endorses Democrat Mike Mancuso
As a registered Republican I wholeheartedly endorse Mike Mancuso to be the next District Attorney in Monroe County.. Even though I can’t vote for him in the primary. I will vote for him in November when he receives the majority democratic votes for this position.
The record speaks for itself as Mike has shown how he has handled himself with many high profile cases as Assistant District Attorney. He knows the law and is an honest and reputable person..
Mike is the most qualified person and should be elected to be the next Monroe County District Attorney, not because of his party affiliation but because of his experience and record..

Reader: Mancusos running for DA, judge could be conflict of interest
An independent judiciary is essential for ensuring that justice is served fairly and impartially, protecting individual rights and liberties, and maintaining a stable democracy.
I couldn’t help but notice that while First Assistant District Attorney Mike Mancuso is seeking election as District Attorney in Monroe County, his wife is seeking re-election as a Judge. He is also the campaign chair for Judge Germano who is also seeking re-election , and Mancuso’s office is prosecuting a Judge while an assistant DA is running for that seat. Meanwhile, another assistant DA under his supervision is running for Judge in East Stroudsburg.
Can you say conflict of interest?
None of this sounds like fair & impartial justice to me , which is why I would never vote for Mancuso.

ESASD candidate lists qualifications for school board
Early in my career, I was passed up for a promotion because I didn’t ‘possess the qualifications.’ A pivotal moment in my educational & career trajectories; no one could ever say that to me again. As 1 of less than 4% of 14+ million Latinas in the U.S. with a Doctorate, I’m breaking barriers & am a voice for many. A glimpse…
*1st Hispanic elected to ESASD School Board in November 2019, still only 1 & only 1 in current race.
*1 of 135 Hispanic School Board Directors across PA who represent 3% of 4,500 Directors.
*Only Hispanic elected in Pike County & 1 of a handful in Monroe County. ESASD sits on both Counties.
*Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 Board overseeing special education for 13 School Districts. 1st Hispanic & 1st person of color; still only 1. Vice President since 2021.

*Interviewed for PA Secretary of Education in December 2022.

Reader has seen Leeth’s expertise firsthand
I support Donald Leeth for District Attorney of Monroe County. Don has served Monroe County‘s citizens for over 25 years in various capacities as an attorney.
He has been an Assistant Public Defender, an Assistant District Attorney, solicitor for Monroe County Domestic Relations, and the Managing Partner at his law firm in Stroudsburg, where he has helped hundreds of people with their child custody and immigration needs. I have seen his work first hand for over two decades.
His trial advocacy skills are excellent, and his dedication to his craft is impressive. Yet his best attributes for the position of Monroe County District Attorney are his character traits.
Don is compassionate and attentive to a fault. He is a wonderful husband and father to four beautiful children. He listens intently and pays attention to those in need.
The citizens of Monroe County need a person like Don Leeth leading the District Attorneys Office, and that is why I’m voting for him on May 16th.

Forensics/Neuropathy specialist endorses Mike Mancuso
I’ve worked with Mike Mancuso for over 10 years. He is many steps above the average district attorney and has the foresight to figure out some of the more complex cases and bring them to closure with justly affirming verdicts.
In addition, Mike Mancuso is a real human being who applies equal justice across the board and is also willing to provide grace when the case calls for it. Just about everybody I know, who has worked with him, finds him to be a great guy and an incredible human being. He is an excellent husband, a caring family man, and would be a superb district attorney on behalf of the people of Monroe County.

Former Eastburg mayor endorses Mancuso for DA
I am proud to support Mike Mancuso for District Attorney. Mike has consistently stood up for victims and the little guy. As First Assistant District Attorney Mike has handled the most serious and difficult cases. His record is unmatched. Please vote for Mike Mancuso on May 16.

Voter spotlights Mancuso’s decades of service to community
The political divide between R’s and D’s in this country, and in Monroe County, has resulted in a slew of mediocre candidates and poor leadership. It’s time to look past the party lines and focus on who’s running for what. Mike Mancuso is the best choice for District Attorney by a long shot. His 20+ years of current service to this office and this community show his dedication to prosecuting criminals and keeping our county safe. Mike Mancuso should have been DA years ago but it appears to me that his boss was more concerned about serving more terms than my father and his one time mentor, James F. Marsh, than what was in the best interest of our county. Now more than ever is the time to focus on who’s running for what and vote for the most qualified candidate. Vote Mike Mancuso for DA.

Monroe County Detective endorses Mancuso for DA
Mike Mancuso is the Democratic candidate for District Attorney. He received more signatures from democrats on his Nomination Petition than his opponent. The election is May 16th. Whether you vote by mail or in person, Mike Mancuso is the best qualified candidate. Mike should be elected the 27th District Attorney of Monroe County because he has consistently demonstrated how to get the job done. I have worked closely with Mike Mancuso over the years, as well as with his current political opponents. I can tell you that Mike stands above the others in experience, innovation, hard work, dedication, know-how, compassion, and accomplishments. He is the absolute BEST candidate for the job!
