Former Fair City star Jenny Dixon said she ‘shrieked with joy’ after finding out the gender of her twins, and she asked fans for name ideas.
In November, the actress announced that she and her husband, former TD Tom Neville were adding two new additions to their family in 2023.
After throwing a gender reveal party for friends, the happy couple filmed the moment that they found out whether they were expecting boys or girls.
Popping a massive confetti-filled balloon, the pair were overjoyed to see pink, meaning they’ll be adding two baby girls to the family in the new year.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Jenny revealed that she ‘shrieked with joy’ when she found out that she was having two girls.
‘Shrieked with joy when I found out it was two girls. Pics 2 months apart..8 wks of baby girls growing. Swipe to today.. #28weeks ! What are your suggestions for cute twin girl names?! Love to know!’, she wrote.
Jenny’s fans rushed to the comments to come up with name suggestions, with one person recommending ‘Máire and Aine (for the blessed mother and her mother)’.
‘My daughter’s name is Joy and everyone loves it, her middle name is Bonnie which I love as well, congratulations’, another person added.
Many others had varying ideas, from Harper and Heidi to Olivia and Grace.
It comes as Jenny and her husband enjoyed a night out earlier this month with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and his partner Matt Barrett.
In an Instagram post, Jenny stunned in a black dress that showed off her adorable baby bump and sported silver studs around it.
Leo opted for a crisp white shirt for the outing, with Matt wearing the same colour to go along with his dark jeans and white shoes.
Other snaps from Jenny, showed her and Tom posing together following their mouthwatering meal at celebrity chef Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse & Grill located on Dawson Street.
