After waiting probably the longest nine months of our lives (we can’t imagine how it felt for mum) Hilary Swank has announced the arrival of her beautiful twins.
The Oscar-winning actress, 48, shared the exciting news with an absolute heart-melting snap of the two of them cuddled up with her on a balcony overlooking the sunset on the water.
She captioned the adorable photo: ‘It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼 Happy Easter! 🐣🐣 Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽’
Fans and followers rushed to congratulate the star with Sharon Stone penning: ‘God bless honey This is the most extraordinary journey ever ❣️🌹so happy for you all.’
Juliette Lewis followed this with, ‘👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 😮 congrats beautiful strong mama and babes ❤️,’ while Viola Davis also shared her well-wishes with a very excited ‘Aaaaahhhh!!!!! Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️.’
The new mum announced back in October 2022 that she was expecting not one but two babies with her husband Philip Schneider during an appearance on Good Morning America.
The 48-year-old actress and her other half Philip have been married since 2018 but are thought to have started dating way back in 2014.
The couple tied the knot four years ago in a private ceremony. The wedding took place in the stunning Saint Lucia Preserve in Carmel-by-the-sea in California.
Clearly delighted with her big news, Hilary exclaimed on the show: ‘I’m gonna be a mom! And not just of one, but of two. ‘It’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it.’
In the last ultrasound that she shared before the arrival of x and y, one of the little ones almost looked like they were flexing for the camera.
Of course, Hilary saw the opportunity to make a joke and ran with it, calling them her Million Dollar baby, after the flick she starred in back in 2004.
